I've tried all sorts of Java installations, and nothing's helped yet. I dug out my old router and plugged in my workstation and laptop, left Azureus running for 10 minutes and then it started happening again, explorer locked and my downloads stopped, along with the laptop loosing its connection, my system didn't unlock until I unplugged the modem.
I know it doesn't really make any sense blaming it on Java since it shouldn't have any connectivity with my modem, but it only happens when I run a Java application. I just found my modem log (
http://192.168.100.1/P_log.htm) and it has this repeated around 10 times at the time it froze:
