Is it time for me to get annoyed? Since the upgrade, I too have been experiencing some of the problems already highlighted, but just lately it seems to be worse! Slow epg etc; epg not loading, "BAUKM" error message and so on. This past weekend it got worse; Box read 305, tv showing Q Music??; Sunday afternoon the stb display is flashing all sorts of numbers & symbols (a reboot cleared it!) and on Monday morning switched it on, display says 704 tv showing CNBC Europe.
I make a call to CS (polite & sympathetic response) need an engineer they say, unfortunately the "system" was down and they could not book a visit directly, but promised to pass on my details for the service dept to contact me directly. No call Monday!
On Tuesday I call again and tell CS about no call back on Monday. CS rep tries to get to the "screen" to book me an engineer visit, but the system is down. The CS Rep gets a colleague to try (in case it is her machine) but that did not work; she did promise to speak with the service Dept and get back to me. As promised, she called back to say that she has asked them to treat me as a priority, and to call me directly. No call!
Today I go through the same process; describe the fault and tell them that I was expecting a call "as a priority". Again the "system" would not let them access the appointments screen, but they would get someone to call me back........ I am still waiting!!
When should I get annoyed about this? I am not having a "dig" at the helpful ntl people that visit this site, on the contrary, I am hoping to benefit from their wisdom!
