Edited highlights of Sam's post that started this whole thread; my emphasis:
"
we have begun the rollout of the much discussed CR3 software to Langley...
We are now in a position to answer questions...
We would also welcome your feedback...
Please use this thread specifically for questions directed to the ntl product team regarding the new software, or to share your feedback with us
We won't be in a position to respond to questions as they come up, but Neil has kindly agreed to ... send them to us. We will then respond once we have collated all of the answers...
we will not answer questions about future developments, other than to give general intentions. We will, however, answer all queries, technical or otherwise, on this specific software where we can...
We look forward to your comments and questions."
It may be "unofficial", but I doubt that she posted all this entirely without the knowledge of her employers and colleagues.

Probably not, but she used only this website to announce upgrade dates for all the regions. I cannot believe those were unauthorised leaks.

Not an essay, but I would like to see some sign that
those in a position to have got the message(s) and are in fact planning to
do something about it. Otherwise, I can only assume that all this feedback has disappeared into the black hole of ntl Customer relations, and we have all (over 600 posts now) been wasting our time providing it.
Years of development, months of "testing", and they managed to produce
this.

It was bad enough when it first appeared, but why has the 1:10 am channel hopping suddenly started??????????????????
And when is it going to stop?????????????????
