i've recently been getting spam mails labelled as SEXUALLY EXPLICIT as per this acticle

now my thinking is that if these mails are conforming to the FTC rules then they should also be conforming to the CAN-SPAM rules of the US and I can then use the remove me link ok to get off the list. Anyone else got any mails like this yet and tried the remove link..

trouble is these days if you use a remove link how do you know if it has really worked or not with the amount of spam we get!! they can easily mail back to say you have removed and then send you 10 mails from different companies all spoofed without you realising..
