Not got the time to read through all the above threads. Everyone has their own way of treating spam.
I've tried numerous programs, and they all have little drawbacks of their own.
I am currently using SpamPal from
here and have found this to be the best yet. What you must remember is that you really need to spend time setting the software up correctly... adding plugins that are relevant, blacklists, whitelists etc. Time spent on that pays dividends twice over
Since installing it, I've had absolutely no legitimate mail tagged as spam (which is basically what the program does). Once I've run it for a while and continued happy, I will then set up a rule in Outlook that permanently deletes mail marked as spam by it (which is basically the same as requesting it being tagged by ntl).
