I avoided Big Brother the first year it was on and only ended up watching the second series because a guy I liked at the time persuaded me to (and asked me to watch Big Brother
).
I have to admit amongst all you anti-BBs that I loved BB2. That said, I hated the third one - to me it was a "Hey come and look at the stupid ugly people and laugh at them" attitude all the way through. I was apparently one of the few people who quite enjoyed the fourth series.
It's not something that takes over my life but I'll almost definitely watch the first episode and see how it goes.
That said, I'm glad to see this anti-thread. Generally I think there's far too much reality TV awfulness on these days.
So I'm a kind of double agent because I'm likely to be on both boards....! Is that allowed?
