Are NTL actually going to deliver an effective anti-spam email upgrade?
I read about it some time ago, and if it's already happened, then it sure as hell doesn't work.
If they are going to have an effective solution (preferable DUL blacklisting, rather than unreliable content based blocking) then I'll be wasting my time if I initiate an address move or preparing my own defences (eg. Spampal).
95% of spam comes from IP addresses that are already WELL blacklisted for open proxy (these days, you never see an old style relay), and 99.9% is from dynamically assigned user address space, direct to MX. That someone can't direct send to you from their desktop SMTP server, is a small price to pay for slaughtering the majority of spam.
