it amazes me how many people meet their patners off the internet..... but i think nine times out of ten they aren't actually looking for a relationship. go to some chatrooms and chat to people, dont come across as too eager, but it might actually build your confidence talking to someone and seeing they are interested in you, and then use this new confidence in "real" life.
as chi said, you can find love when you least expect it..... don't necessarily go to these things to find love, go to have a chat and a bit of fun and see where it leads, and dont get to heavy too quickly
