How do you know that your parents don't use your towels? (assuming they don't have their own bathroom).
Personally, I'd not use someone else's towel unless I knew it was fresh, but obviously some people aren't that considerate.

Gentital warts are caused by the low risk (low risk of cervical cancer) variants of Human Papillomavirus (HPV), this is the same virus that causes verrucas and normal warts so be careful of your towel on the floor of changing rooms!
Most people will catch HPV's throughout their lives and not know it, studies have shown that someone may have it one month, and a couple of months later be clear.
High-risk HPVs are not linked to cervical cancer.
The wart is an overgrowth of skin caused by certain types of HPV, it's not a fungis like some people seem to think.
Thrush is a fungis however, normally kept in check by bacteria in the woman, hence why some women get it when they've taken a course of anti-biotics.
