Would I get faster browsing if I could get a proxy to work in the box?

Just wondering. Any advice appreciated.
You don't need to specify a proxy under normal circumstances - only if you are having problems. There were, apparently, problems in the Brighton area yesterday and I would think they have been fixed by now which is why you are both ok without a manually specified server today.
