Whenever Im in guide and scroll right for programmes more than 6 hours away all I get is 'programme information unavailable' and have to wait 2-3 minutes for this information to come through. It's frustrating and I eventually give up... meaning missing programmes I would have seen previouly.
I phoned cust. services this morning and they said the problem is that they are running two different software/guides just now and when migration to the new software is complete in the next month or so things will speed up 'dramatically'. Let's hope so!  |
I can see how running two epg vesions could possibly slow down programme epg data updates.
However, I can't see how the general speed of navigating between visible programmes/channels/menus will improve though because when you are doing that the data is already there in the box.
We'll see.
