I seem to remember that he has been moderately successful, both in Sweden and Italy. However, I do see your point - I think that the reason that he's continually linked with the top jobs like Man U and Chelsea is because he is quite experienced at that level (ie clubs who are consistently challenging for honours) and because, in the grand scheme of things, I think some clubs and the media believe that it would be easier to entice Sven away from the England job (particularly as his contract was due to expire after Euro 2004 and he has made it clear that he doesnââ‚ƚ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t like not being involved in day to day management) than somebody like Martin Oâ₠¬ÃƒÆ’¢â€žÂ¢Neill from Celtic.
