a friend of mine had ntl cable modem installed on the first day it was available in my area (about 2-3 years agp) - he wasnt billed at all until he called up last month and ordered the 1meg upgrade, and now he is billed for the 600k service - so 3 years for free and now he gets 1 meg for cheap
