Other than it not working I think broadcast times would be very useful. It is one of the major drawbacks of analogue and it seems a litle misleading not to mention it. Even something like, "Not all channels broadcast at all times on ntl's analogue TV service" would cover it. |
But the advantage of analogue over digital is that u can tune the TV into the terrestrial channels (1-5), whereas with the digital STB's that NTL issue u can't as they have no analogue pass thru'. This lets u record a channel that ur not currently watching on 1-5, and lets u run more than 1 TV off the STB so people can watch different terrestrial channels.
I have heard that there's an adapter available that u can add 2 digital STB to receive the analogue signal though. Any1 know if this works with current issue STB's?
