Well then why bother asking for assistance writing to them....if you don't think they're going to listen to anything you have to say, then write the letter, stating you're disconnecting.
Put your name, address, account number, date and date of termination. Sign at the bottom, send by post.
If you want people's input on what you want in it, don't tell them they're wrong when you get a reply.
