no, sending mails like this is not SPAM so it is not breaking the law, however from what i have read the easiest way for isps to prevent people spamming on their connections is to monitor the number of mails people are sending per hour.

What you are doing may well have flagged up something somewhere, but if you haven't heard anything yet then obviously your isp either hasn't noticed you are doing it, or has noticed and hasn't taken any action against it.

how come you send your cv to so many people anyway?! 2000 is a lot!!
