If you did want to try it, then the Maplin 2 way splitter (QQ69A) should work providing, as has been already mentioned, that your signal is strong enough to overcome the loss through the splitter.
They also sell ready made leads.
F plug to F plug 1.5m (BM89W) or 5m (QQ77J).
F plug to coax plug 2m (QQ74R).
You will only see all the unencrypted channels if you have a TV capable of tuning outside the normal UHF television frequencies.
