In the last couple of days, I have had several warnings from my AV/firewall about a "mutant bagle". I run McAfee, which is always up to date, & use OE for mail. Some mail I have tried to send out with attached pix was stopped due to the above mutant. I then virus scanned the entire PC- including the files which I was unable to mail out, and the contents of my mail. The scans put me in the all clear, no viruses detected. So why did the AV prog stop me from mailing out the files if they were clean? Very puzzling.... Any help much appreciated.
are you using stationary in outlook express? or sending messages as html?

if so, try sending plain text messages instead, as this may resolve it.

ntl have starting filtering the bagle virus now, but it has been recognised that it is blocking some senders who are not infected when they are trying to send html messages from OE. hopefully, changing to plain text should resolve it for you. If not... post back
