Yes, the proxy problems always seem to crop up after a period of "load balancing". Why is this? I would like to know. It isn't something that lasts a few hours, either. The problems usually remain for days.
Then some of the NTL tech people have the nerve to complain that users setting their own proxies "unbalances" the system. Well, yeah it might, but if the job was done right in the first place, we wouldn't have to resort to such tactics. In all the time I've used the net, I don't know of one other ISP who
regularly has these problems.
