I think the way ntl work it out is that the ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£18:00 is for the TV connection & base pack, with the phone line rental bundled in as a freebee. Certainly that's the way it shows up on my bill.

If you were to say "I don't want the phone", I dont think ntl would reduce the TV charges.
