If its not working properly, then its unfit for the purpose it was sold for, if a f/w upgrade is required to fix the problem then, 1a linksys's excellent uk support shud sort that for you, if upgrading f/w is so risky, b, you do it and if the f/w upgrade goes bad then thats yet another reason why the product is unfit for the purpose.

Moral: Dont buy from dodgy traders, Research your products before you buy, including the support set up in your country by both the retailer AND the equipment manufacturer.
