So where are the techy people and the installers going to work from ?.

The building was a bit like a ghost town last time I went in there!
Planning who were once quite a large department would now fit in a phonebox, if this is true does it affect fault management as well as customer services then?
Yes, I know what redundancy is like. Been through it twice but fortunately in my case I was more than happy on both occassions.
My only regret is not being made redundant by ntl, I had enough and left after the first planning for growth.
If I had just waited another 6 months, the 14 years service would of been a nice payoff!
I wen't through a situation about 18 months ago that was actually quite awkward, I was very happy with being made redundant but another guy was devestated and just didn't want to accept it. I think the under threat BS is terrible for people in that situation.
I got called 130 miles into the office to be told and the HR woman said, If I knew how you were going to take it I could of told you on the phone, apparently one person jumped across the desk and grabbed her.
I just thought great, I have worked for them for 8 months and they are giving me nearly £15k to say goodbye. I saw a positive side in my situation, unfortunately I guess I am in the minority.
even though it was good for me, I feel bad for the ones who have mortgages, debts, kids etc and possibly a big task to find another job
