I'm citing examples of how children that don't have to endure domineering teachers slapping them about will still manage to grow up to be well adjusted human beings, indicating that the problem might NOT be with the parents or teachers not inflicting physical pain but actually with a low standard of parenting.

Does your school not have remedial classes set up to take these students away from the less disruptive members of the class? I know ours did.
