On the budget front, I can recommend the good looking Naiko N-2081 from Safeways(!) and also the Compacks AB-6820 also from Safeway. These would play a round cardboard cutout if you tried

. Obviously they wont play DivX though. Both are better than my old Cyberhome AD-L528.
