Just to give some clarifiaction re the billing on your sacm account:
If you pay by DD you receive a notification of due date of debit on a monthly basis,its not a bill as such just says we will debit £xx on or around dateXX.
These DD details would have been taken i assume when you expressed your interest in ntl BB services and would have a different reference number to your existing services,when these details were taken it should have been explained fully how and when you would have received your DD notifications etc;
The usual confusion arises to which email account the notification is being sent to cmr services should be able to assist here.
I know there have been problems with the transfer of billing files to banks over the last few months so this may explain the letter turning up and nothing being debited from your bank account via your DD.
