It'll only read/write to ATA flash cards (and presumably, with an adapter, Compact Flash too). If you wanted to stick any other PCMCIA card in then you'd have to write a driver for it. The only other way would be to write a driver to 'capture' all PCMCIA accesses by the PC and squeeze them over USB - not a task for the faint hearted!

Easiest and cheapest to stick to a basic USB to CF adapter - they're cheap as chips these days.
