I think he is after something that will give him a clean dos env. with to tsr's - the 98 prompt runs loads of crap in the background and realmode prog's dont like that.

I needed to do this once so I made a bootable cd with a full copy of msdos6.1 on it. It used to boot into a lovely clean dos..... Its a bit of a bugger if you need to change the autoexec.bat or config.sys file though
