Re: NTL blocking BitTorrent ports? (6881 to 6889)

Hallo all!

Ok, just out of interest here, I have assumed of late that the world of filesharing was just going downhill. To me, getting a full download rate is just laughable. I, on average get around 2-3kb/s no matter what I use. Normally use Kazza Lite but have since tried just about everything else under the sun, including BT, DC++, Shareazza, Limewire, you name it, I've tried it. But everything I try is just pants! Time to download an (out of copyright! ) mp3 - 6 years and 31 days!

I'm using a cable modem which is connected to a linksys router (the 4 port one with 41 at the end of the name). I remember the halcyan days of getting 50/60 kb/s, but can't remember if this was only on ADSL. Am I missing something here? Thanks guys! (I lurk a lot but am a shy type!)

P.S. the Shadow's BT client is always on Yellow and this is apparently a bad thing. I'm not running a firewall, windows or otherwise.
