£49.30 - wireless router (quickfind - 51436)

It's all 802.11b kit which to be honest is fine for me, even at it's slowest it's faster than my broadband connection so no loss of service there and because it's also a hardwired hub, if I do have any large transfers, I can just hardwire the network connection to up the speed for a while.

Prices do seem to be good - especially the PCMCIA card. I set the hardware up in no time at all and I'm using it now.

Thought the ebuyer prices might sway you when compared to NTL/Simply.

Good choice of kit - I have a linksys router with a seperate netgear WAP (wireless routers were silly money back then) an have not had any problems - running both windows and linux laptops through netgear cards, all works well

The linksys router is a doddle to set up, and has been as reliable as can be

I hope you enjoy the wireless/broadband combination - I can honestly say I would not go back to a purely wired network
