The numerous other smaller excellent ADSL companies offering BB (and so easy to switch to), are merely using BT lines, and are not BT BB itself, so the focus is more than just between BT and ntl.

So, BT got more complaints
per 1000 customers than NTL (thereby nullifying any size difference). Having said that, the article doesn't mention other ADSL suppliers, any of which could be better or worse than NTL.
