OK:

First off assuming you have an ethernet port on the new PC all you will need is a RJ45 cable (Should have been supplied along with the modem when it first arrived) If not you can pick one up for just a few quid at any PC store.

Connect up the RJ45 between the Modem and PC and reboot the modem by powering it down for a few mins then turning back on with the PC on during this process. With luck that is all it should take as XP will pretty well sort the rest out for you automatically.

Any problems just post back and we can walk you through anything else you need.

EDIT: I see th'engineer has already procided a link so have a quick read through that first as it covers all the bases in more detail.
