And that tune Nah nah nah nah Arrrrggghh!!!

bopdude 21-06-2003 06:33

Well it's happened as predicted see here for all the crazyness, excitement

and here for more, if you can stand it

That book has been hyped up so much that I'm already bored. There'll be some (independent) reviews out soon, so it'll be clear whether its worth blowing our hard earned cash.

There are also a lot of 'fake' book 5's out on the net. Have a look at this review page: http://www.virtualbookcase.com/book/detail/45000493

Alan

PS. Yes, I'll almost certainly buy one, but no rush :)

poolking 21-06-2003 09:20

So who's got one already, hands up.

Not me. :)

Like anything that gets continually rammed down your throat, you get sick of it - David Beckham, Big Brother etc.

Tentatively puts his hand up, mumbles something about it being for his friends children. :-)

If anyone is interested 'The Works' (a discount bookstore) is selling it for £8.99, the RRP is £16.99.

I just got my amazon copy (£8.49) ...

See you guys later - MUCH later.
