No because I have no settings for that. I havent really looked into it, I can change the settings in my browser options?

The reason I asked because it was it was so bad but it can be 6pm to 10pm so I guess it was just worse cos the weather is crap maybe.

(I just checked and its fine now, just gutted cos I missed an auction I was gonna bid on)

Re: Cardiff lag

I've got the same in Newport, South Wales, since about 8.00 pm yesterday. Very slow DNS and various sites unreachable. Email also playing up using NTL pop3 servers. Also got difficulties getting mail from 1&1, with whom in 2 years I have never, ever, had a problem. Guess thats just a connectivity problem with NTL.

I have to say though, that this is the first time in 2 years I've had a problem with NTL that has lasted more than a few hours, not counting the email and news server fiasco that's been going on for years..

I dont normally have a big problem with NTL either, but at 2am and its still got broken links, timeouts and no site displayed. Is it down to work being done this weekend, as stated on service status?
