Re: correct connect(is it really needed?)
Uninstall it....
Its not needed, and useless ;) |
Re: correct connect(is it really needed?)
Get rid of it, it should be called "incorrectly connecting" cos all it did to my PC was ensure that everything kept crashing.
I should have known better all those months ago when I got BB and thought ntl provided software would be reliable and enhance the service. Any one know what it was supposed to do? |
Re: correct connect(is it really needed?)
Better software coming soon apparently
We'll wait and see... |
Re: correct connect(is it really needed?)

As for correct connect.... to pinch a phrase from ronseal quick dry woodstain with an ntl twist to it.... "does exactly the opposite to what it says on the tin" Useless absoulute rubbish to put it mildy... GET RID! |
Re: correct connect(is it really needed?)
I do hope that ntl are not paying somebody for licences to distribute incorrectly connecting since the universal dislike of it and derision about it's necessity.

Re: correct connect(is it really needed?)
Of course they are paying for license
Dont know why tho :/ |
Re: correct connect(is it really needed?)
As far as i know, correct connect is SUPPOSED to allow you to report information back to NTL Customer Support easily...somehow... Bin it :)

Re: correct connect(is it really needed?)
I've never even been given a copy, never mind use it.
And no, I don't want it. |

Yup, it's useless - bin it. On the upside, there is a replacement coming out which promises to be quite decent. It's called Broadband Medic
