£100 or over and your down? why????
 
Hi i am just wondering why for so long NTL has set our limit at £100 does it stay this long for ever or does it go up even by a few quid and if one (me( wanted to make it say £125 ? how would I or is this a no hope case, apart from this ntl are not too bad pritty good service when they sort out the right hand talks to their left hand thing i suppose ok.

sounds to me like you've confused the 1gig a day bandwidth limit with some kind of billing option

Hi Simon,

i think I know what you are talking about, but such a specialised matter as this you would need to call ntl for. We have no real knowledge of their credit scoring processes, so you'd have to speak to someone who did. Give them a call, 0800 052 2000, and tell them you would like the limit increased.

From talking to a few people that had this limit applied the process is one whereby those who might not otherwise have been approved are able to gain an account and the limit is normally removed after a short period of you demonstrating the account is working correctly. (3 months or so in the examples I have seen but the period may be linked to the specific reason a restricted value account was used.)

This may well also be a regional thing though so as Neil says the best bet is to talk to Customer Services for a difinative answer in your particular case.
