Ntl are not so bad
 

had a good service from ntl yesterday or friday an engineer called to sort out one of my two stb's it kept on crashing and freezing up he quoted that the signal level was too low -18 i think he said so he turned it up at the head end i think he said but found that the box outside had a problem with it and that it would be fixed on monday morning lets hope so, also ntl service in south (poole) i find is quite good occasionally it needs rebooting or in my case emergency treatment number 1 (hit it with a hammer) (kidding ok) thats a joke!

i am pleased with what i have but wish they would hurry up with the red button features sooner oh well i can wait great site by the way love it.

Glad you're happy with the service, nice to have some positive comments here once in a while.

Reminds me of a call I took several years back from a customer with analogue services, back in the days before I forgot everything I ever knew about cable TV. I was in the middle of trying to sort the fault out and she started laughing.

Me: Can I ask what's so funny?
Her: My husband has just walked into the room and hit the box, and now it's working

I can't remember what happened next, but I think I agreed that we'd get a tech to her if having to hit the box to make it work became a regular thing :rofl:

Was half expecting the tag line to be to offer to send an engineer round if hubby was ever playing up and was no longer responding to the usual slap.
