NTL Broadband email account

Hi all,

Just looking for help and advice........

I currently have 600K broadband at my home. When I installed my cable modem on my PC I used my ntlworld email account name/password.

My girlfriend also has 600K broadband at her home. Her cable modem is to be registered in her ntlworld email account name/password (which is a sub-email account name to my own one (i.e. one of the other 14 email accounts that you can have on your own email account)).

I am moving in with her soon and thus will be cancelling my own broadband (and other NTL services) account at my old home and we will just use her existing NTL phone and broadband account.

What I want to ask is this:- can I still hold onto my own ntlworld email account name/password? Or when I cancel my NTL account at my old home, will NTL cancel my NTL email account too???

Hope this makes sense!

Cheers.

Steve

Yeah, when you terminate your account, you do lose your email/webspace,etc, But you can migrate them to the 56k tier.. and use them that way :)

Not really too sure myself! Sure someone will correct me if im wrong soon enough, tho..

You can migrate your current email addresses over from your current NTL 600k Service, onto a 56k service.. The Pay as you go one... That way, you dont pay for the actual NTL connection, cos' its PAYG.. but you get to access your email, etc. If you ring Customer Services, im sure they'l do this no problem for you :)

You could also migrate your email nto your girlfriends broadband account,
if you contact TS with your girlfriend before you disconnect. They will ask both you and a basic security question then migrate email over for you.
