Re: NE 1 Help With router Problem
What router do you have?
When attempting to access the router are you typing in http://192.168.1.1 as that should get you access, probably need to type in a password like admin or something similar. |
Re: NE 1 Help With router Problem
have you changed your subnet mask at all?
|
Re: NE 1 Help With router Problem
It's a mentor router says adsl firewall router on the box i do typ http://192,168.1.1 and i used to get in the router came up with the login etc
now it just says page cannot be displayed, it was all ok up untill the past two days then god knows what happened |
Re: NE 1 Help With router Problem
Are other webpages ok on that PC?
|
Re: NE 1 Help With router Problem
On my Belkin router, I have locked access to just two i.p addresses. If you have done the same and your PC has changed its IP address that could cause these problems.

Re: NE 1 Help With router Problem
On my Linksys I find at time I can't access webpages and all it requires is that I press the 'reset' button on the front of the router. Have you anything like that?

Re: NE 1 Help With router Problem
You haven't chosen a proxy server in the LAN connections have you?
I found that I couldn't access my Linksys router when this was selected. Unticking the box enables access again. Failing that I would reset to factory settings if this isn't the problem |
Re: NE 1 Help With router Problem
Have you tried resetting the router?
