connecting 2 pc's to one set top box

Is it possible to connect 2 pc's with seperate ethernet cables to one set top box?

So that i don't have to be continually unplugging the set top box and interchanging connections.

Two ways one make one PC to act as the server and let the second pc have access through the pc or get a router connect both pc to the router.

Thanks for that.

Looks like it's a hands and knees job as usual.
