Wireless Network with Broadband ICS

I have a peer-to-peer network set up recently with two Netgear MA101 USB adapters but no router. The server PC is running Win 2000 and the client is Win XP. It works fine but the Internet connection on the client keeps disconnecting for no apparent reason. The signal strength on the MA101s is good. Anybody got some thoughts?

1. On the server PC, in Control Panel "Power Options", check that System Standby is set to "Never", and System Hibernates is set to "Never".

2. On both PCs, in Device Manager, check the Properties of the USB Root Hubs to which your wireless adapters are connected. If there is a Power Management tab, ensure that "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked.
