I'm definitely not a footie fan but here, in the press, and everywhere it seems, it's getting a rather low key response. Are Chelsea fans an endangered species or are they just not interested?

i think chelsea could be a great club needs better players though and arent they only shares anyway the guy whose bought shares in it has 50% ownership............

I guess there could be a concern with him being a foreigner with (possibly) no real interest in the club. He might decide to sell things off, but frankly any owner could do that.

Buying football clubs is so nuveau riche. Admittedly it's normally medium-sized Nationwide League clubs being bought by successful local businessmen rather than Premiership clubs being bought by billionaire oil barons, but hey ho, it takes all kinds ...

Still, I'm glad I'm not a Chelski fan right now.

In addition, if all the football stadiums in the world suddenly burnt down it wouldn't really perturb me very much at all:D
