Problems with laptop screen

Right, for some reason now my laptop screen is very sturdy. For example, when i lift the screen up it stays up but if i put it back a little it creeps down the other side. Get me?

Its not that strong to keep it standing.

Any ideas on what i should do?

Strange my Packard Bell stays put at any angle. In fact due to the tft screen angle thing its sometimes has to be at odd angles when i watch films on it.
Suggestions are try a diff laptop.

Sounds like it is slightly out of alignment so perhaps get your supplier to adjust it for you. I deffinately wouldnt suggest trying to adjust anything yourself as most require special tools and a "feel" for the correct adjustment to use.

You have not had much luck with laptops at all Looey, I remember your other threads reporting problems that you have experienced:-

They just seem very fragile, I think I'll stick to desktop PC's. :)

depends on the design of the hinge, usually a small nut+locknut torqued to tensionioner ,sounds as if your hinges have loosened off just a matter of retightening them but as its new would get it done under arranty .sometimes you can access adjustment to hinges by pulling off the covers but that depends on the design
