How much for an extra phone line?

How much is it for an extra phone line ? I feel that I should get a deal, because the only reason I need another phone line is because I can't get BB and if I am online, I can't use my phone!

I believe it is £7.50 per month but I could be wrong

The Diplomat 02-07-2003 14:47

£6.00 per month. :)

If you have itemised billing this will cost an extra £1.00

Any package you have on your original line should also apply to the 2nd line - but you'd better check that ntl do that for you.
;)

There was an offer on last week for free installation - not sure if that is still the case. Otherwise, £50.

Looks like £5 per month by my little brain...

Thanks all, Macca - you were right! I've just spoken to CS - £6 per month with itemised billing (£5 without) ..... BUT they want £50 to install!
Ah well......... stick with the single line.................

By the way.. Atlis... all your stuff is out of date! eg... family pack £25.50 inc vat ?

Why is it £6 if you have telco and tv but only £5 if you only have telco? What difference does it make?

Incog:confused:

And why would it cost more if you have more services? There does seem to be some different pricing around the different areas.

They were charging me £7.50 for ages for my second line, however then I saw that it should have been £6 so now I'm on that - but that doesn't include itemised billing (which I get for free anyway, long story don't ask!)

It does seem pretty unfair that if I had a telephone only with ntl, then I would only have to pay £5 per month for another line.

If the cost comes into it for a second line, why don't you add voice mail to your existing line! Costs 85p per month and with VAT added £1.00 per month.

I still have it from my dialup days, but it's very useful if you are out (cuts in at the seventh ring) or if you are either on the phone or the internet, it kicks straight in! It also tells you that you have messages because it won't let you dial out!

Problem solved! :D :D :D
