Vdub is a good one you can get a free download from:

http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/do...irtualdub.html

For a full range of guides and other software try looking through:

http://www.doom9.org

Hope that helps if you hit any snags send me a PM and I should be able to walk you through the solutions.

Also take a look on the main DivX site at:

http://www.divx.com/

The DrDivX program is well worth a "spin" so try out the free trial. :)
