ambit modem
 
hi i was wondering if any1 knows how i can get hold of the xp drivers for the ntl modem made by ambit as i just wiped my other pc and need USB. does ne1 have ne ideas??

did you not get a cd when they fitted the SACM I did but didn't use it that has the drivers on if you can't find the cd I can get my cd out and see what I can do.

I believe Robin has a link a link to them from his site found here

i got a cd somewhere but i cant remember where i put it. i wud be really greatful if u got me a set of drivers for it

Do you defo need the drivers as most times I find XP will install the modem with no trouble at all ??

it wouldnt be a problem if my old pc had a NIC on it cos i wouldnt need the drivers then

Usb --- Yuk...... Use an ethernet card.

There is only one use for NTL disks and thats holding a door open !!!!

i allready tried that but it didn't work stupid poxy ntl i wonder if they heard of trading standards? cmon 1mb connection wiv a max d/l speed of 160kbs that sux

I find when helping people at work with either NIC or USB that it usually 9 times out of 10 will install, only occasionally does it need the CD. I thought I had a CD at home but realised left all my stuff at work, sorry !!

Now scratching head to think of way round it :spin:

im running out of ideas to! i wish that i was livin in a telewest area because there much kinder to ther customers! wat happened to 24 ht tech support??

the modem will not install on usb without the drivers

I have the drivers on my pc if you have mirc or msn I can transfer them to you its a .exe file though
