Setanta Sports 2
 

Hello all, I follow Irish Gaelic games that are shown on Steanta Sports 2. These games are extremely popular, but the problem is that NTL do not carry Setanta Sports 2, so I (and others) cannot follow the sport. I had accepted this as an inconvience, I am pretty happy with my NTL service. That was until I found that Setanta Sports 2 is available in Telewest areas, I contacted NTL about why they were not showing this channel, and the response came back that SKY own the rights to this channel?? If i understand right, NTL actually own TELEWEST, I can see no reasonable reason why they shouldnt be able to carry Setanta Sports 2. I hope someone from NTL will pick up on this, because I believe the very large Irish community in the UK could be served by showing this channel. Ant chance.............?????????

Maybe when TW paid Sky for the channel they weren't part of the NTL group and Sky do not want NTL to be able to show the channel on it's line up?

Setanta 2 isnt owned by sky, Setanta own it along with NASN, Rangers TV, Celtic TV. Seems strange that NTL carry all of the other channels. Telewest carry them all and sell them as a package. NTL have a setanta package but that doesnt include NASN where as Telewests does.

Still some consolidation needing to take place
