To start off with i am new here i would like to say hello to you all:hyper: :woot:

First off let me have a moan about BT not ntl:rant:

I had ntl Broadband 10mb package i thought i would have a change and go to BT total broadband with the home hub,

Im not really a download person i would rather go to blockbuster and rent a movies in high qulity than download it but any way as a communications engineer i like a good high speed connection and now with bt BB i do not get it,

Also on the bt site i said i could get around 4.5mb but then when i had my modem (home hub) i checked on there site again and it said i could only get 2.5mb max they changed it and i am paying £26.99 a month for this:afire: ,

I get slow speed etc and drop outs due to the copper being old and i am on the end of the exchange in my area,

So i want my ntl 10mb BB conection back:bigcry:

So any one know what deal there are at the moment i also want NTL'S HD PVR when it come's out, Do you think its worth hanging on,

And any one know the best way to get rid of BT broadband,

Erm you may have a problem since you sign to a 12 month contract and as you know ADSL is always promoted as "up to speeds" :(

although I would think that if they originally posted up to 4.5mb and when in reality its 1/2 that, and they then change the advert, is that not miselling?
Could use that to get yourself out of the contract poss if you can prove it?

Doubt it unless it has it in writing that he would get that speed guaranteed.

That is the only think i can not prove it, I will try an drop it to the min package if they will let me and phone ntl and get 10mb BB back in aswell
