So.....
Further to my previous thread (Any advice) I have now decided to downgrade my package to a bare bones affair until the 3rd of May 2007 when I can say adios to the service. According to telewest I have to keep my TV Drive for 12 months. Is this true? I cant find it anywhere on the website. The lowest price they can give me a package for is £63 a month. I feel like crying.:Yikes:

Re: So.....
If you are within 30 days of the start of the contract, I believe you have the right to cancel it immediately and without extra cost. Although, I should stress that you should check that with either the Citizen's Advice Bureau or a lawyer, as I am not a lawyer.
However, NTL/Telewest do only issue 12 month contracts, so if you are outside your 30 days, you would either have to put up with the £63 a month or pay the lot upfront.. |
Re: So.....
£63? What does that cover? I don't know the exact packages and prices but I think you should be able to get them down to the phone and free TV (about £12) with TVD (£15 at that package) and broadband (I think it's £17.99 for 2 meg).
Total of about £45. |
Re: So.....
£63 they told me entails Starter TV, TVD, 2nd box at £15 a month, 2 meg at £17.99 a month and line rental. "Take away the TVD cos the feckin thing never works I said", you have to keep it for 12 months they say. "The second box is £5 a month" I say, no apparently its always been £15 a month. (Standard STB)
