Urgent 2 Channels dont work the rest do HELP!!
 

Hi All
big problem I have all 3 sky sports channels but SS1 and SS3 just have a blank black page showing the info bar is correct with whats on just no picture.
I have two stbs and both are suffering from the same problem so I guess its something to do with the signal or other network equpiment.
SS3 is working fine its been like it for 12 hours now. All the other channels on the stb are fine.
I have tried all the various stb reboot tips from the very handy thread on the sticky page to no avail. Does anybody have any ideas as I really would like to see all the footie today but it looks like I wont be!

no as they are not open at the moment although I have read some reports they may open on sundays the message on customer services says they dont work on sundays.

AFAIK CS is shut but TS is open on Sunday

Try ringing either 150 from an ntl phone or the 0845 number, there is a message saying that C/S is closed but if you stay on the line it does ask you if you want to report a fault, press 1, and it will take you through. It is faults you need not CS anyway, good luck and hope you get the channels back !

Just to confirm that CS or TS don't deal with things like missing channels, no pictures etc, it's a fault so you need to speak with Faults ;)

Thx to all sadly they tell me their system is down today so they cant rectify my fault so no footie time to see how much sky charge I think

Sky Sports used to be one of the channels that would drop off first if you had signal level issues if I remember correctly. If a reboot and a gentle wipe of the smart card doesn't sort it you may get other channels starting to drop off. Deffinately worth getting someone out to look at it.

Hi black adder on the missing channels press page up page down and the blue button what does it say in pre and post error collum .If the levels are out it will say no pre or post then its a level / box problem.As fingy has said on the langley network skysports 1 & 2 are in the same mux sky sports 3 is in another if you have movies check these as well:)

things now sorted apprently ss1 and 2 were not available in my whole area.
got my box changed as well as it had a faulty card and now have a small samsung one with vod as well nice :)
