Splitter for tv and broadband with NTL

Hi

I need to create a separate feed in my house as moving a few things round. I need to split the feed that goes into the house again so one cable goes to stb box and the other to my cable modem. Existing setup is not suitable.

Is it a specific splitter NTL use, and if so, can I buy these on ebay or do I need to get NTL out

There will be some on here who tell you otherwise but to be honest you're better off getting ntl out to do it for you, its not just as simple as buying a splitter some cheap coax and a couple of connectors mate :( there are signal levels to take into account, as well as the potential to introduce noise into the network which could screw up not just yours but your neighbours TV and Broadband

Best get ntl in and do it for you if you do it yourself and have to call for a engineer you wil be charged for the call out
